MOTU Symphonic Instrument Owners: How to install and authorize the 64-bit sound library.

There has been a 64 bit update for the Symphonic Instrument library.  If you purchased a copy of MOTU Symphonic Instrument, you no longer need the MSI.dat file or original Symphonic Instrument Player plug-in.

Download and install the UVI Workstation software from here:

https://www.uvi.net/en/software/uvi-workstation.html

Download the MSI.ufs library file from here:

https://cdn-data.motu.com/downloads/msi/MSI.ufs

Place the MSI.ufs file here:

OSX:

Macintosh HD > Library > Application Support > UVISoundBanks

Windows

OS (C:) > Program Files > UVISoundBanks

The new MSI.ufs library requires a new iLok authorization.  Contact customer service and provide your iLok.com log-in name.  MOTU will upload a Symphonic Instrument Sounds authorization to your iLok account.  You will then be able to active the authorization to your USB iLok key via the iLok License Manager software.

Symphonic Instrument will then be available from within the UVI Workstation player and plug-in.
