Audio in Cakewalk speeds up/down

If the audio in Cakewalk 9 or earlier speeds up and down, this could be caused by incorrect SMPTE/MTC Sync settings when you record audio in Cakewalk. These settings are located at the bottom of the Advanced Tab in the Audio Options dialog box. This can be accessed from the Tools menu of Cakewalk. Make sure that you have the SMPTE/MTC Sync set to "Trigger and Freewheel" before recording audio while slaved to external timecode.
