UVIX is designed to convert CDs in a sampler format, which includes the raw sample data AND a keymap, for example AKAI sampler format, Sample Cell format, etc. To work with a CD of RAW samples in MachFive, UVIX is not the best method. For these, you may drag and drop the samples you want directly to a MachFive key. When you create a new preset MachFive will say "drop your samples here" in the middle of the screen. You may freely drag and drop samples from a loop CD here, or drag them to your host audio application first for editing, then onto the keymap in MachFive.
