How do I back up, import, or export my MX4 patches?
You can access MX4's bank management features by clicking on the File button in the upper right corner.
Your MX4 patches are saved in a file called "MX4.patches", in ~/Library/Preferences.
To export a bank of patches:
- In the Bank portion of the window, select a Bank.
- Click on the "Export" button, and choose a location to save this file. It will create a file called "
.patches".
To import a bank of patches:
- In the Bank portion of the window, click on the "Import" button.
- Select any .patches file and press "Choose".
To import an entire set of MX4 patches from another computer:
- Transfer ~/Library/Preferences/MX4.patches from the first computer to the second.
- In the Bank portion of the window, click on the "Import" button.
- Select the MX4.patches file you transferred and press "Choose".
