Windows machines can not play a WAV (Wave, .wav) file I bounced from Digital Performer 4.5

Wave files exported from Digital Performer 4.5 may not play on Windows-based computers.

Digital Performer 4.5 uses Apple's CoreAudio/Quicktime system for audio import and export. If any version of Quicktime is installed prior to Quicktime 7, when exporting a WAV file with Digital Performer 4.5 header information on the file becomes damaged and will not be playable on Windows-based computers.

Apple's Core Audio system has been updated with Quicktime 7, so WAV files exported from DP 4.52 on a system with Quicktime 7 installed are playable under Windows.

Quicktime 7 requires OS 10.3.9 or higher.
