In Pro Tools, how do I drag and drop samples into MachFive?
Since plug-in windows in Pro Tools disappear as you switch applications, dragging and dropping samples into the MachFive window may seem difficult.
After you've setup a new preset in MachFive, arrange your windows so that you can see both a Finder window and the MachFive window. Click and hold the sample you wish to drag (without actually switching to Finder). You can now drag the sample into the MachFive keymapper, or to the MachFive Parts List (in MachFive 2.0 and later).
