The 1.1.2 & later MOTU Symphonic Instrument updates contain performance enhancements and optimizations. In addition, they add compatibility with new Intel Macs. MachFive 1.2.3 users should note, however, that MSi 1.1.2 & later do not currently support the ability to use the MSi soundbank sounds in MachFive 1.2.3.

If you use – or plan to use – this feature, do not update to MSi 1.1.2 or later. Use MSi 1.1.1 instead. If you have already installed MSi 1.1.2 or later, and you are currently in a situation where you cannot see your MSi soundbank sounds in MachFive 1.2.3, you can go back to MSi 1.1.1 simply by running the MSi 1.1.1 installer again. Note that if you are using MachFive 2.0 or later, you can use your MSI sounds in MachFive with MSI 1.1.2 and later.
