Cast your vote for DP6 and the UltraLite-mk3

The ballots are in and two MOTU products have been nominated this year for a 2009 Technical Excellence & Creativity (TEC) Award. Digital Performer 6 has been nominated for the TEC Award in the category of Outstanding Technical Achievement, Workstation Technology, and the UltraLite-mk3 has been nominated for the TEC Award in the category of Outstanding Technical Achievement, Digital Converter Technology. Remember, EVERY vote counts (just ask Al Franken!), so check your eligibility and cast your vote to support your favorite MOTU products.

History

The TEC Awards, presented by the Mix Foundation for Excellence in Audio, was established in 1985 to honor outstanding achievement in the professional audio production and product innovation.

Nominations

Nominations are made by a panel of more than 100 audio industry professionals.

Voting

Members of professional audio and sound production organizations, including the Audio Engineering Society (AES), the Producers/Engineers Wing of the Recording Academy (SPARS), and the Game Audio Network Guild (GANG) will determine the winners via online balloting beginning August 10th. AND THE WINNER IS...

The winners of the 25th Annual TEC Awards will be announced at a ceremony to be held Friday evening October 9, at the 127th AES Convention. The Convention is being held at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City.
