Mackie Control Surfaces with CueMix
|
The MOTU FireWire CueMix Console is capable of being controlled remotely via one of the Mackie Control Surfaces (Mackie Control, HUI or Baby HUI) connected to the computer thru a MIDI Port. CueMix Console "Control Surfaces" menu Application follows control surface When this menu item is checked, CueMix will always show the fader being moved. This is helpful in setups with multiple control surfaces where you might be mixing two different buses and you always want to see on screen the fader being moved. Share with other applications If you are planning to use your control surface together with another program (like DP), this setting will unload the driver when the console is not the top most application, so it can be used by another application that uses the control surface. When this menu item is unchecked, CueMix retains control over the control surface regardless of which application is active. Enabled Enables or disables the use of the control surfaces. If you want to use a control surface with CueMix, make sure this is checked. Configure This window shows the configuration options for the control surfaces, allowing the configuration of multiple surfaces running simultaneously. |

Edit Settings for: This menu will show all the Control Surfaces connected to the computer. Choose an interface to view and edit its settings. Group This setting allows the grouping of multiple control surfaces: when two or more control surfaces are part of the same group (ie set to the same Group number), they'll act as one unified control surface. When they are not part of the same group, they operate independently from each other. Group position This setting lets you set the order (from left to right) in which the grouped control surfaces will work; the lowest number will be the left-most surface.
