Three MOTU Products Nominated for 2005 TEC Awards

Every year, the readers of Mix magazine choose what they consider to be the best new pro audio products in a wide range of categories, from "Ancillary Equipment" to "Large Format Console Technology." And this year, MOTU is proud to announce that three new MOTU products have been nominated for 2005 Technical Excellence & Creativity Awards in three categories:

The Traveler

Outstanding Technical Achievement, Digital Converters

Digital Performer

Outstanding Technical Achievement, Workstation/Recording Technology

MX4

Outstanding Technical Achievement, Musical Instrument Technology

The TEC Awards were established by Mix magazine in 1985 to honor outstanding achievement in the professional recording and sound production industry. The nominations are made by a panel of approximately 100 audio industry professionals. Qualified Mix subscribers will make the final determination via a ballot in the August 2005 issue.

So if you already subscribe to Mix, look for the August issue. If not, get your subscription today, before it's too late. And keep an eye out for the August issue when it arrives so you can vote for your favorite (MOTU!) products. We thank everyone (regardless of your vote) for participating in this opportunity to recognize technical achievement in our industry.

The winners of the 21st Annual TEC Awards will be announced at a ceremony on Saturday, October 8, at the New York Marriott Marquis, on the second night of the AES Convention.

MOTU is honored to have received these nominations, and on behalf of all nominees, we hope that you will be able to attend the ceremony in New York City to join in celebrating excellence in the pro audio industry.

Further details about this year's TEC Awards can be found at the Mix Foundation for Excellence in Audio web site.
