Attention Mac users! The M4 works with your Mac without a driver: just plug it in and go! The optional Mac driver provides better speed (lower latency) and a loopback feature for capturing your computer's output. To learn more, especially IMPORTANT installation instructions, watch the Mac driver video before installing.

Windows users — start here

Download the Windows driver for the M4 below. This link provides the Windows driver only. For access to the rest of the software included with your M4, such as Performer Lite, Ableton Live Lite, and the loop libraries, register your M4 to gain access to additional software installers.

Optional Mac driver installation

Mac driver installation (optional)

Your M4 interface is plug-and-play with a Mac: no driver required. However, the optional Mac driver covered in this video gives you the best possible speed (USB latency performance) from your host audio software, plus convenient "loopback" channels that let you easily capture your computer's output. Combine computer audio with live mics and/or guitar inputs to stream the combined mix to Youtube or your favorite podcasting platform in real time. Streaming and podcasting have never been easier and better-sounding!
