MOTU is now shipping three new audio interfaces with complementary digital audio I/O configurations, flexible routing, stand-alone mixing, AVB-TSN networking and connectivity to a host computer through class compliant, high-speed USB 2.0 (compatible with USB 3.0 and iOS). Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, MOTU's award-winning UltraLite audio interface lineup has a new family member: the all-new UltraLite-mk4, with 18 inputs and 22 outputs for a total of 40 simultaneous I/O channels. With exceptional analog audio quality, DSP mixing, wireless control and new optimized low-latency drivers, the UltraLite-mk4 is sure to become another MOTU classic.

Summer is sizzling and so is Digital Performer 9.1, now shipping as a free update for all DP9 owners. If you don't own DP yet, you can run the free download as a 30-day trial version. The 9.1 release introduces two new plug-ins, significant performance optimizations and dozens of workflow enhancements.

Musikmesse 2016 is in the books. This major European trade show in Frankfurt, Germany featured a completely new layout in Halls 8 through 11, lots of walking for show-goers and open doors to the public all four days. The MOTU booth buzzed with in-depth demos, live music performances recorded on-the-fly into Digital Performer and a significant product announcement for MOTU hardware users.

Firmware update 1.2.5 is now available for the 1248, 8M, 16A and other latest-generation MOTU audio interfaces, including the UltraLite AVB. A free download that's easy to install, this major firmware upgrade offers significant new features, including another industry first for MOTU and a milestone for pro audio: a whole new way to connect an audio interface to a Mac.
