Job Description

MOTU is looking for a software engineer to expand and maintain the systems the that build our applications, drivers, and embedded software. You will work closely with small teams to build and manage code that creates our industry leading software. In this role you will be writing code that runs anywhere from an AWS server to an embedded ARM. You will be working with other engineers to ensure that new code is quickly and reliably turned into software and firmware that can be delivered to customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain unified build systems for platforms that include FPGAs, microcontrollers, and embedded Linux systems.
• Support team members by designing and building software tools to solve problems and automate work.
• Manage the durability, availability and security for a range of services.

Required Experience

• Strong understanding of Linux as both server and embedded environment
• Comfortable reading others' code and writing your own
• Good understanding of Git
• Knowledge of Jenkins, especially multibranch pipelines
• Strong knowledge and understanding of networking
