When I quit DP 4.5, I get a message saying the program has unexpectedly quit
We have found that the plug-in for Apple's iSight camera may cause a crash when you quit Digital Performer.
The iSightAudio.plugin can be found in /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/HAL. If you are not using the iSight, you can delete this file. If you are using the iSight, do not delete this file; however, make sure you are updated to at least Mac OS 10.3.5 with all security updates.
Also, programs that alter or "hack" OS X in realtime, such as Unsanity's Metallifizer haxie, can cause DP to crash upon quit. Try removing or disabling these applications.
If you continue to have trouble, try adding the LAME.framework, which is used for DP's MP3 Export, to /Library/Frameworks. For more information on the LAME.framework and where to get it, check out the tech note, How do I Bounce or Export my DP file as an MP3?.
