Can I use my MOTU interface with Mac OS 10.3 (Panther)? Does my software work with 10.3?

Hardware:

We have drivers for our FireWire audio interfaces, USB MIDI interfaces, and PCI-324 & PCI-424 cards to operate under Mac OS 10.3 ("Panther"). Check out the link below to go to our Downloads page for our latest drivers.

Serial devices are not natively supported under Mac OS X. Check out the tech notes titled, Can I use my serial MIDI interface under Mac OS X?.

Software:

We have updates for Digital Performer, AudioDesk, Unisyn, and MachFive to run under OS 10.3. Check out our downloads page for the latest version of these programs. Also, MX4, MOTU Symphonic Instrument, and MOTU Ethno Instrument are 10.3-compatible as of their initial releases (note that Ethno Instrument requires 10.3.9). Electric Keys and BPM require 10.4 or later and are not 10.3 compatible. Currently, there is not a version of Mosaic, Freestyle, or Performer (not Digital Performer) that runs under OS X.

FreeMIDI is not needed under OS X, as Apple's Audio MIDI Setup handles the MIDI setup.
