When working with multiple MOTU AVB audio interfaces – whether two interfaces are directly connected to each other and clocked through their Network ports, or multiple AVB interfaces are synchronized with an AVB Switch in a "star” configuration – changing the sample rate should be done from within the MOTU AVB Web Control Application to minimize inter-device configuration issues.

When working with one MOTU AVB audio interface, changing the sample rate from within your Digital Audio Workstation will successfully change the sample rate of the hardware.
